On the occasion of World Environment Day, Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing organized an awareness rally on 5th June 2025 at 10:00 AM in Anita Village. The event aimed to spread awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability among the local community.
The rally witnessed active participation of around 150 students from B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, and ANM courses. Alongside the students, the NSS Officer and all faculty members from the nursing department also took part with great enthusiasm.
Students prepared creative posters and charts with impactful messages related to environmental protection, climate change, pollution control, and the importance of planting trees. These visuals were displayed throughout the rally route, attracting the attention of local residents.
The rally began from the Vidhyadeep Institute of Nursing and moved across key areas of Anita village. Students raised slogans emphasizing the need to protect nature, reduce plastic use, and preserve greenery.
This event served as a significant step toward community engagement and sensitizing young minds towards their environmental responsibilities.
The event concluded with a short address by the faculty and NSS Officer, appreciating the efforts of all participants and encouraging continued eco-friendly practices.
